James Head Joins NCG as Senior Fellow

NCG is thrilled to announce that the illustrious James Head, former CEO of the East Bay Community Foundation amongst other distinguished posts will be joining our team as the new 5 Shifts Senior Fellow.  

James will be leveraging his expertise to coalesce and mobilize executive leaders in philanthropy towards advancing racial equity at the institutional and sector level. In particular, he will be exploring how foundation CEOs are translating theory to practice with their current racial equity efforts. He will look at a range of factors including board management and culture evolution, with an eye to sharing these insights with a broader cross-section of philanthropic executive leaders. He will also be producing a brief report with field learnings. James will provide thought partnership through generative discussions with the 5 Shifts team.  

James will undoubtedly provide clarity, wisdom, and practical guidance that will propel our impact to new heights.
