Sponsorship Opportunities
Each year, NCG's annual events and institute bring together thousands NCG members and partners from the sector and all over Northern California. As a potential sponsor, you can choose which type of sponsorship is best for you and your organization.
Hi, we are glad you are here!
Northern California Grantmakers (NCG) may have been started by grantmakers in philanthropy, but now we are a philanthropy serving or as we like to envision it, a philanthropy transforming organization. We’re a nonprofit, not a philanthropic institution. It’s confusing, we get it. We don’t serve as grantmakers, but our membership base is made up of some dynamic funders moving philanthropy as a whole.
Our Mission
Northern California Grantmakers mobilizes philanthropy to build healthy, thriving, and just communities in Northern California.
Our Vision
Philanthropy redistributes resources, capital, and power back to historically marginalized communities leading transformative change.
Our Audience
NCG is made up of community members across philanthropy including program officers, board members, donor trustees, individual donors, movement conveners, communicators, visionaries, advocates, dreamers, and believers. We believe in our collective power for good.

Annual Conference: Imagine & Act
When: June 18, 2024 | Oakland Marriott | Estimated Attendance: 300-400 people
Each year, we intentionally gather to lean into how the philanthropic sector can develop solutions to cultivate healthier, thriving communities here in Northern California and to discover what is possible when we collectively come together to work towards the greater good. This year's Annual Conference theme, Imagine & Act, resonates deeply with the current landscape of philanthropy. We recognize that we can only act on what we can imagine, and as philanthropic leaders, we are called to expand our collective imagination. How can we envision philanthropy not as it is, but as it could be at its best? How do we develop practices, tools, and ways of being that truly serve the cause of freedom and equity? These questions form the cornerstone of our conference discussions. Our goal is to inspire attendees to envision bold pathways towards a more equitable future and equip them to turn those visions into reality.
