Announcing Nephthali Ramirez as Program and Communications Coordinator

NCG is excited to officially welcome Nephthali Ramirez (she/her) to the team! Nephthali joins the newly created role as Program and Communications Coordinator supporting program development from beginning to end. She has experience in both nonprofit and philanthropic sectors working most recently as a contractor for NCG where she supported over 100 events and helped implement the transition to virtual programming.

Nephthali joins the Public Affairs team with Kayla Ballard where she'll support program strategy, create the resources members need to stay engaged, and bring all NCG programming to life. Her balcony experience of conversations in philanthropy gives her a unique perspective on the intersectionality of issues affecting Northern California.

"Nephthali's contribution to NCG has already had an impact on the way we offer programming and engage with members," said Kayla Ballard, NCG's Communications Manager. "We're lucky to have someone who sees the through-line in what we're trying to accomplish!"

Nephthali graduated with a BA in Pre-Law: Political Science from Oakwood University, and a Master's of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University. She also served as the founder and president of "The Dialogue," an organization focused on bridging the gap between universities in the Northern Alabama region, community folk, law enforcement, and university leadership. When she's not working, you can find Nephthali practicing yoga, reading a book to her son, or mastering the recipe to her favorite Indian meal.
