Announcing Molly Woodbury as Membership Engagement Coordinator
NCG is excited to announce Molly Woodbury (she/they) as its new Membership Engagement Coordinator.
As a part of the Membership team, Molly sustains NCG’s membership – from welcoming new members, managing the systems that support engagement, to strategically building a dynamic membership experience. Molly’s commitment to addressing racial equity has been evident throughout their career within philanthropy, civil legal aid, and social sectors.
“With a profound dedication to enhancing systems, a passion for understanding our field, and a robust background in philanthropy, Molly has already made an impact,” shared Aaron Jiron, NCG’s Director of Member Engagement. “Their unwavering commitment to trust, racial equity, and solidarity has driven them to advocate for change and address systemic challenges head-on. Molly’s expertise in Salesforce, grant writing, and data analysis, coupled with their adaptable and proactive approach, promises to usher in a new era for NCG.”
Molly’s understanding of historical injustices and systemic inequities fuels their determination to work toward a better future for marginalized communities. Molly brings experience on both sides of grantmaking and is passionate about easing the burden on grantees using trust-based practices. She is an award-winning grantmaker whose career in the social sector includes roles with the Koret Foundation, Contemporary Jewish Museum, Open Door Legal, and most recently Women’s Audio Mission.
When asked about the new role, Molly shared “I see so much potential for deeper connection. As a neurotically organized person, I love making systems more efficient and making resources more accessible for both members and staff.”
