Please join the California Youth Organizing Funders Collaborative for a discussion focused on the power and impact of investing in youth organizing as a strategy that supports a broad array of foundation and donor priorities - from youth development, to climate change, to mental health and well-being to power and movement building and leadership development for a truly just, inclusive and equitable California. This session will provide historical context, resources, dialogue with youth organizers and learning between practitioners in philanthropy who seek to invest in youth power and youth leadership development.
Alice shared that in their NCG tenure, they are most proud of developing and implementing Racial Equity Action Institute (REAI), a multi-sector cohort program for leaders interested in operationalizing racial equity in business, government, nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. Because of their visionary leadership, we created a network of 100+ leaders who are working to move racial equity from theory to practice in their specific sectors.
The personal is political. These past two years have made that abundantly clear. NCG’s Leadership, Culture, and Community team also knows that the professional is often deeply personal.
