NCG is pleased to announce the membership team is growing! Jamie Cooke (they/them) joins as the new Member Engagement Coordinator supporting all things membership for the NCG community. Jamie has a background in both nonprofit and philanthropic sectors and worked most recently at Tides helping with Salesforce operations and improving processes.
Jamie joins the Member Engagement team with Phuong Quach where they'll connect with members, build internal Salesforce capacity, and collaborate on strategic goals for membership.
"I'm thrilled to welcome Jamie to NCG who comes with the perfect triple threat combo: hard skills, a strategic mind, and a fun personality," said NCG's Vice President of Member Engagement, Phuong Quach. "It's great to have a thought partner and teammate to help us take NCG's membership to the next level. I hope you all have a chance to connect with them soon."
Prior to Tides, Jamie spent time learning about the philanthropic sector and alternative, large-scale funding models while interning at Lever for Change and participating in their graduate program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Born and raised in Oakland, they're excited to be back in the Bay Area focusing on their passions around LGBTQ+ rights and issues, increasing accessibility, abolition work, and addressing homelessness locally. When they're not cheering on the Warriors or walking around Lake Merritt, you can find them at the local farmers market chatting with their favorite vendors.
