First-of-its-Kind Research: Fellowships for Formerly-Incarcerated People in California
The California Criminal Justice Funders Group is pleased to share our first-of-its-kind report Funding the Future: Fellowships for Formerly-Incarcerated People in California.
This report features a field scan of 38 fellowship programs for formerly-incarcerated people in our state, as well as useful data and recommendations to enable funders to support fellowships as an important strategy to elevate the leadership of formerly incarcerated people and to advance justice reform in California. In addition to the report, we are launching an Aligned Giving Strategy to increase philanthropic impact through coordinated investments in fellowship programs, ensuring that those most impacted by the criminal/legal system gain skills and opportunities to lead our movements for justice. We invite you to review the report and join us in the CCJFG’s Aligned Giving Strategy for Fellowships!
