Rise East Site Visit

Join Oakland Thrives, The San Francisco Foundation, East Bay Community Foundation, and Northern California Grantmakers for a site visit in the 40x40 neighborhood on November 1st to learn about the visionary work of Rise East. This half-day event includes transportation through the neighborhood, lunch in Liberation Park, and stops at key sites.

Join us to learn about this historic, community-driven partnership to uplift Black children and families in East Oakland. Meet us at East Oakland Youth Development Center at noon on November 1st. Gated parking will be provided. We will have you back to EOYDC by 4pm for a celebration with refreshments and youth performances.
