Resources from Funder Network on Trauma and Resilience: Kick-off Meeting

Publication date:
April, 2018

The Funder Network on Trauma and Resilience plans to begin meeting quarterly and is designed to provide a forum for learning, debate, and relationship building around topics related to the field of childhood adversity and resilience. The vision for this network is to foster a vibrant, engaging funder learning community that meaningfully increases the impact of individual and collective efforts to address adversity and build resilience in the Bay Area.

At the first meeting on March 14, 2018, Alex Briscoe, a consultant to the Zellerbach Family Foundation, presented a model developed in collaboration with experts in pediatrics, mental health, education, and youth development to frame and understand the complex and often fragmented safety net for children in California.
