NCG is pleased to host a lunchtime session to explore the use and support of the Power of We race/class narrative.
In a previous session with Anat Shenker Osario we learned about the potential of this new narrative to provide a stable, clear stock message to counter divisive rhetoric and policies that challenge our values. This new messaging establishes a platform for organizations to lead with a race/class narrative that can move a cross-racial set of audiences toward believing in and fighting for racial and economic justice. NCG and The San Francisco Foundation are pleased to host a conversation to learn about the campaign, for people who missed the first session, and to share with peers who are thinking about how they might use the narrative in their own work, with grantees, as well as providing support for the larger messaging campaign.
Join us for the first, in what we hope may become a series of conversations between foundation colleagues to continue exploring adoption and support for this exciting initiative.
Please RSVP below for the December 13th meeting to begin discussing ideas.
