Past 2020 Census Events
Please join the Bay Area Census Funders Collaborative for our next regional working group meeting. As Census 2020 Day approaches, it is an important time to share updates and further opportunities for engagement to ensure a fair and accurate count. At this meeting, we will discuss:
The Census is a nonpartisan, nonpolitical process meant to count every person living in the United States every 10 years. Knowing how many people live where is important to business and community. That’s the bottom line.
As the 2020 Census approaches, Black Californians are again at risk of being undercounted. To address this, the California Black Census & Redistricting Hub is mobilizing Black-led and Black-serving organizations across the state through coordinated outreach campaigns.
What is the highest and best role for philanthropy? And how can the Council on Foundations support its members and the field to be a strong and trusted partner in advancing the common good? You are invited to join Kathleen Enright, president and CEO of The Council on Foundations, for an interactive visioning session to explore these key questions.
Please join NCG for our next regional working group meeting related to the 2020 Census. Many sectors from philanthropy to government are mobilizing to ensure a fair and accurate Census count.
