Still on the fence about attending the 2021 Corporate Philanthropy Institute? Well you have come to the right place! Check out the top ten reasons below for why this is going to be a conference you are not going to want to miss!

1. Smooth Jams.

Did you have the privilege of busting a move to Lady Ryan’s smooth jams at NCG’s Annual Conference last spring? Well, get those dancing shoes ready for another performance from one of the Bay Area’s most beloved DJs!

2. Captain Picard.

What do Captain Picard from Star Trek and corporate philanthropy have in common? They both get things done! Our conference theme this year is “Make it So”, it’s time to take bold action towards the future we want to build together.

3. Do you believe nonprofits resemble the magical creature that is the unicorn? So does our special guest, Vu Le

Vu will be in conversation with other nonprofit leaders as they explore opportunities to center nonprofits and the incredible people that make them up. We have over 40 speakers in the lineup including Fatima Angeles, Nicole Taylor, and Michael McAfee. Take a look at the full list of speakers here

4. Curious about what your CSR colleagues are working on and what they have planned for the future?

Then you’re going to want to be there for CPI Perspectives, where we will feature Bay Area CSR leaders who will share their take on current events and what they are looking forward to.

5. In this ever-changing world that we live in, it’s critical for funders to stay abreast on the issues they care so deeply about.

From housing and homelessness to policy and climate resilience, come learn about new developments, data, and resources to enhance your effectiveness as a funder.

6. Teamwork makes the dream work. No person is an island. If you want to go far, go together.

We all know it, we are better together and need each other to build the brighter future we all desire. Although we won’t be gathering in person, this virtual conference will be a space for people to connect with old and new colleagues of the like.

7. Free Swag.

Looking for your next great read? Every registrant will receive a copy of Heather McGhee’s book, The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together. Heather will also be chatting it up with NCG’s President & CEO on Day 1.

8. Want to be in the know on new and innovative ways companies are stepping up in this moment?

Then you won’t want to miss this year’s CPI as we have a stellar line-up of speakers who are going to share about how they are tackling the Bay Area’s most pressing issues.

9. A performance by Aisha Fukushima

Founder of raptivism, justice strategist, and vocalist, Aisha Fukushima will be taking center stage as we close out Day 2. You will leave feeling challenged, inspired, and ready to make it so!

10. It's virtual. Pajamas or an early Halloween costume are allowed.

Receive all of this community, knowledge, learning and enjoyment from the comforts of your very own home (or whatever space you work from). As we are not meeting in person, no need to worry about transportation, parking, or dressing up super fancy.
