NCG Member O2 Initiatives has announced the latest recipients of their O2 Sabbatical Award. The O2 Sabbatical Award honors extraordinary san Francisco Bay Area leaders by providing them with a much-needed break for personal and professional reinvigoration.
Please join us in congratulating the 2019 awardees:

O2 Initiatives is committed to supporting those who have tirelessly dedicated their lives to igniting positive change. This year’s visionary awardees are strengthening the Bay Area and beyond by harnessing the transformative power of the arts to open minds and build community; healing stress-related trauma to rebuild lives and restore families; training diverse youth for competitive jobs in the creative digital economy; and reimagining early childhood education for low-income children and families.
Sabbaticals recharge high-performing executive directors and advance leadership capacity throughout their organizations. The result is stronger leaders, smarter teams, and more resilient organizations.
Since 2015, O2 Initiatives has supported a total of 30 leaders and organizations. They will now take a one-year pause to focus on deepening engagement within their alumni network and to reflect on learnings from their first five years of awards. The next call for applications will be in summer 2020 for February 2021 sabbatical awards.
