NCG's Own Ellen LaPointe Named One of Bay Area's Top Influential Women

Monday, May 16, 2016

By Diane Parnes, Chair, NCG Board of Directors

Two years ago I had the pleasure of serving on the search committee to attract NCG’s next President and CEO. We hired Ellen LaPointe because her prior experience, along with her character, embodied the leadership qualities that would help the board build a sustainable future for NCG and ensure that we work to bridge the business, government and social sectors together to strengthen our region.

I am delighted to share that the SF Business Times recognized what we saw in hiring Ellen. They have named her one of the most influential Bay Area women in business for 2016  congratulations, Ellen!

I would love to hear where you would like to see Ellen devote her formidable energy and influence in the year ahead. Thank you for your sharing your ideas!

Please feel free to comment below and share your ideas on where you want Ellen to devote her influence in the coming year.

By now my friends and family are a little jealous when they hear tales of how inspiring and fun it is to work with you. Seeing news of this recognition will only worsen the envy. This is every bit deserved and then some!
