NCG members are a pretty impressive bunch. When they're not busy working to address issues facing our communities, they're apparently finding time to co-edit books. NCG member Benjamin Jealous, Partner at the Kapor Center for Social Impact, is one such member.
Ben and Trabian Shorters are co-editors of Reach: 40 Black Men Speak on Living, Leading and Succeeding. Reach is a collection of personal essays by black men from all walks of life sharing their inspiring stories and ultimately how each, in his own way, became a source of hope for his community and country.
To celebrate the release of Reach Ben and Trabian are co-hosting a book launch with BMe Community at the Getti Ono Gallery in Okland on February 24th.
At the book launch celebration Stephen DeBerry will moderate a conversation with Ben, Trabian, Jarvis Sulcer, and Justin Davis.
Congrats to Ben and Trabian on the book release! We hope the launch goes well.
