Margoes Foundation Announces 2nd Venture Philanthropy Competition

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

The Margoes Foundation is looking for new and innovative college access and success programs that prepare low-income and under-represented students to qualify for and succeed at four year universities. Qualified candidates will be San Francisco Bay Area based organizations at the earliest stage of development, that seek seed funding to launch a program or service which has the potential to be scaled at a statewide or national level.

In June 2015, the Margoes Foundation will award one Venture Philanthropy (VP) grant to the most promising program presented. The successful applicant will be awarded a three year grant of $50,000 per year, pending achievement of agreed upon benchmarks.
