NCG member Evelyn & Walter Haas, Jr. Fund has announced the appointment of Julia Ritchie as the interim director of the Flexible Leadership Awards program.
For sixteen years, Julia has been president of Ritchie | Tye Consulting, Inc., a nonprofit consulting firm in New York. Her firm has helped many foundations and nonprofit organizations, ranging from emerging CBOs to national organizations, become more strategic and effective. Clients have included Freedom to Marry, GLAD, Unbound Philanthropy and New Vision for Public Schools.
Prior to starting her own business, Julia was a fundraising consultant and senior manager at the Gay Men’s Health Crisis. She holds a BA from Princeton and two master’s degrees, one in counseling psychology from Columbia University and the other in social work administration from the Hunter School. Outside of work, Julia is passionate about education and environmental issues and is an avid hiker and kayaker.
We are excited about the energy and expertise Julia brings to the team, and know that the FLA program will benefit from her new leadership.
