The Bay Area has always been home to changemakers and forward-thinkers who challenge the status quo. In this spirit, Google has launched the Google Impact Challenge seeking big ideas and supporting nonprofits chosen by a public vote.
As funders, you can nominate a nonprofit who is doing extraordinary work.
The Impact Challenge will award $5 million across 25 nonprofits who are piloting innovative ways to build a better Bay Area. A panel of local advisors will review the ideas and the entire community can lend a hand by voting on the finalists they think will have the biggest impact.
Applications are now open and eligible nonprofits can apply online by July 23, 2015.
