Our friends at the Foundation Center are looking for papers—case studies, lessons learned or evaluations—on the subject of immigration funding. IssueLab, a service of the Foundation Center, is working with The Atlantic Philanthropies to systematically capture and share lessons learned from the last 15 years of funding in the area of migration and immigration rights.
“The progress and impact of funding in the immigration field has been significant, and our collective intelligence about this work is invaluable. But this intelligence is currently shared in mostly ad hoc ways that make it difficult to access, search and analyze at an aggregate level…
This collective effort will result in a public online collection of lessons learned launching this spring. It can be continuously and freely added to over time by foundations and their grantees. Whether you are doing a scan or exploring a new funding strategy, you will be able to benefit from the knowledge and insights shared in this collection.”
