Last week NCG member the Blue Shield Foundation of California announced $6.3 million in first quarter grantmaking.
Funds aim to support promising new ideas with the potential to transform healthcare delivery and domestic violence services for the Californians most in need. This includes a 3.2 million-dollar grant to help safety net providers deliver high-value care and enhance patient experience and engagement...
First-quarter giving also includes grants to incorporate the prevention and identification of domestic violence as a standard element of whole-person care, as well as continued support for the Philanthropy-Joining Forces Impact Pledge to enable more veterans and military families to get the help they need.
