May 5th is around the corner. And May 5th is Give Local America day, a 24-hour crowdfunding event designed to empower every person to give back to their local communities. Here in the Bay Area both the East Bay and Silicon Valley are participating with East Bay Gives and Silicon Valley Gives.
NCG members East Bay Community Foundation and Silicon Valley Community Foundation are each the presenting sponsors for the prospective Give Local initiatives.
We here at NCG applaud the work our members are doing to coordinate these crowdfunding regional giving days. Best of luck on May 5th!
