This year, we brought members together with grantees to lift the baton for Martin Luther King Jr. Day in a conversation with MLK’s counsel and speech writer, Dr. Clarence B. Jones. Take a look at his most recent piece published January 17, 2016, Rise Like Lions on Huffington Post.
Looking forward in 2016, we wanted to capture the momentum of the past year in bringing renewed visibility to racial injustices. Check out the members who came together to hear Dr. Jones connect the civil rights movement’s call for economic and social justice with the next generation of activists rallying around disparities in wealth and racial equity.
