Northern California Grantmakers’ Corporate Philanthropy Institute (CPI) is a day-long conference featuring speakers, panels, breakouts and opportunities for corporate grantmakers to network with their peers.
This year’s CPI, Visionary Practice: Groundbreaking Idea in Action, takes place on October 3rd at the Marines’ Memorial Club & Hotel located in San Francisco’s Union Square.
Visionary companies are taking these innovative approaches and others to address social and community issues and creating the next wave of corporate philanthropy. But how are they taking the ideas of tomorrow and putting them into action today? How are they integrating and living them in their approaches to philanthropy? And how do they insure that “it’s not just jumping on board the next new thing,” but is a strategic and valid direction?
At this year’s institute NCG will expand on the discussion we started last year about social innovation. We’re taking the next step and diving deeper into the topic. This year we will focus on how innovative approaches and ideas are playing out in the “real world” of corporate philanthropy, social responsibility, and corporate citizenship.
We’re thrilled to have so many amazing speakers lined up for this year’s institute.
Take a look at who’s coming to share their insights and knowledge on current corporate grantmaking trends:
NCG, SCG and SDG members: $150
Non-member corporate grantmakers: $300
