Last fall, the Manager of RVS for Disaster Resilience, Relief, & Recovery played an integral role in catalyzing a coordinated philanthropic response to the North Bay Fires, including keeping funders updated about community needs, coordinating national educational programs, and providing guidance to local funders. The new RVS Manager will be responsible to continue these efforts, to refining and expanding a regional information and response system for the philanthropic community, and strengthen NCG’s internal capacity to be a hub for data sharing and coordination when disasters occur.
