Bookkeeper

This role requires a skilled Bookkeeper with strong execution skills and is detail oriented to perform day-to-day accounting functions and maintain financial records.  Bookkeeper job duties include working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices. Our ideal candidate holds an accounting degree or 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience. A successful candidate will need to blend flexibility with disciplined execution and strong self-awareness and confidence in operating through informal channels as well as established hierarchy. Director, Equity and Social Justice

The Director, Equity and Social Justice is a key member of the NCG team.  S/he works in close partnership with the full NCG management team to set forth and execute a strategy to advance equity and social justice goals for the organization in consultation and collaboration with NCG members, external partners, and other key stakeholders. Manager, Programs and Events

The Manager, Programs and Events is responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of strategic goals, primarily under two areas of focus: Equity and Social Justice and Leadership, Culture and Community. This position is responsible for project management, strategic support, supporting the development of related networks, program development and providing research and technical assistance to members and will work in close collaboration with the Directors of Leadership, Culture and Community and Equity and Social Justice. Vice President, Finance and Operations

Reporting to the President and CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior management team, the Vice President of Finance and Operations (VP) will be responsible for the development and management of a financial management strategy for Northern California Grantmakers ($3.5 million annual budget), and contribute to the development of the organization’s short- and long-term strategic goals. In addition to the strategic components, the VP will be charged with developing and implementing more sophisticated policies and procedures both in the finance and general operations realms. Manager, Regional Vibrancy and Sustainability

Last fall, the Manager of RVS for Disaster Resilience, Relief, & Recovery played an integral role in catalyzing a coordinated philanthropic response to the North Bay Fires, including keeping funders updated about community needs, coordinating national educational programs, and providing guidance to local funders. The new RVS Manager will be responsible to continue these efforts, to refining and expanding a regional information and response system for the philanthropic community, and strengthen NCG’s internal capacity to be a hub for data sharing and coordination when disasters occur.
