ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a full-time, exempt position in Mountain View, California.
SVCF’s work environment is based on a holistic wellness approach and therefore, has embraced a hybrid remote/office work environment. All SVCF team members must be based and hold residency in California and must be able to regularly attend team and staff meetings, trainings and other gathering in Mountain View when required. This position is required to be in the office twice a week.
All SVCF employees are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. New employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination prior to onboarding. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Community Action, Policy and Strategy, this position will serve as one of the community foundation’s key external-facing leaders overseeing the design and implementation of SVCF’s strategic initiatives in housing, early childhood development and financial stability.
This position will develop, operationalize and communicate SVCF’s strategic initiatives and direction across the organization and to a community of stakeholders. Using SVCF’s new strategic direction as a guide, this position will develop initiatives, projects and policy, as well as align the resources to carry out SVCF’s strategy. This position will connect SVCF’s strategic initiatives to its community action grantmaking, capacity and movement building initiatives and community partnerships.
