About Grantmaker Membership

Grantmaker Memberships are organization-wide: your entire staff and board receive member privileges. Membership is for one calendar year. You may arrange to pay on a different fiscal year schedule. NCG is tax exempt under IRS section 501(c)(3). For purposes of completing form 990-PF, all dues in excess of $750 may be reported as a grant rather than as administrative expenses. Payment and documentation may be submitted following your application. 

Eligibility

Grantmaker Membership is open to organizations or individuals who give at least $25,000 annually and to government entities that give more than $25 million. In addition, the grantmaking program must be the most significant part of the applicant’s activities. Grantmaker categories include:

Grantmaker Dues

Grantmaker Members support NCG through annual contributions based upon their annual grantmaking amount, averaged from the past three years. Your membership is good for one full year. No refund or cancellation is available.
