The Wildfire Technology Funders Group seeks to identify and fund scalable solutions to extreme wildfires, including those we have been experiencing in the western United States. This group brings together philanthropists and investors in the US and internationally to learn about and galvanize investments on innovative technology-related solutions that address the full cycle of wildfire management - from prevention and risk mitigation to early detection, assessment and response, to active management. The monthly meeting typically showcases one to two technology solutions from nonprofits and social enterprise-led organizations where funders can learn and ask questions.
The Wildfire Technology Funders Group meets the first Thursday of each month and is part of the Wildfire Resilience Funders Network, which consists of two other funders groups - the Wildfire Policy Funders Group and the Wildfire and Social Justice Funders Group. The Wildfire Technology Funders Group is open to funders and philanthropy serving organizations only.
