Have you ever struggled to get your board, staff, or other team to make decisions that everyone owns?
The San Francisco Bay Area LEG and Arabella Advisors invite you for some wine and cheese, and an afternoon program on group decision-making. Join Managing Director Stephanie Fuerstner Gillis of Arabella Advisors for a conversation on when and why it’s essential to engage stakeholders in decisions, and as importantly, how to do it. Learn practical and easy to use models for leveling the playing field and engaging people with varying degrees of power (young, old, in family, not in family, board, staff, etc.) to get to better decisions that everyone owns. Participants will practice applying the techniques in groups and take away recommended tools and connections to valuable resources.
Program participants can continue the conversation by joining NCG staff, LEG Coordinators and Arabella staff for dinner following the program at a nearby restaurant. Individuals are responsible for covering their own dinner costs.
This program is open to foundation donors, trustees, and staff; individual donors; donor advised fund holders; members of giving circles. There is no fee for this program but
pre-registration is required due to limited capacity. Please register online at www.exponentphilanthropy.org by September 22nd.
