This is a teleconference.
After the deadliest mass shooting in our country’s history this past Sunday, June 19 at a nightclub in Orlando frequented by the LGBTQ community, there’s been an outpouring from the philanthropic sector to help with immediate needs and prevent such tragedies from continuing to be part of our national narrative.
- Update funders about what’s happening now in Orlando and within the LGBTQ community
- Hear from leaders on gun violence prevention work, both within California and nationally, about the complexities of gun violence prevention and their approaches to it
We send our deepest sympathies to the victims and their loved ones and stand in solidarity with everyone seeking to recover and rebuild in the aftermath of such violence.
