Due to the power shutdown in the Sonoma and Napa region, this program has been postponed. While the purpose of this gathering was to lift up Latino Community Foundation’s transformative approach to disaster recovery following the 2017 wildfires that hit this very area exactly two years ago, LCF’s Just Recovery Partners have been called to action in their local communities to respond to the needs of families impacted by the power outages.

All of the food and art activities prepared for this convening will be donated to La Luz Center (which literally means “The Light”) so that children and families can have a fun and safe place to gather. Community and love are everything in times of joy and crisis! This is a testament to the strength and resilience of LCF’s Just Recovery Partnership and the importance of this work.

In this time of need, please stay safe (here are power outage updates). We will inform you when this program is rescheduled.
