Join the Legal Services Funders Network (LSFN) as Julia Wilson, Executive Director of OneJustice, sheds light on where and how legal services organizations attempt to meet the needs of individuals and communities throughout California.
Topics to be covered include:
- Where the 100+ legal service organizations are located throughout California, how they work together and which areas are underserved
- What restrictions exist re: the issues they each cover and populations they serve
- The role of self help court centers and other programs designed to help meet the legal needs of those with limited financial resources
- How legal services organizations work with other safety net providers in their communities
Julia Wilson, Executive Director, OneJustice. As Executive Director, Julia is responsible for leading OneJustice's statewide network of 100+ nonprofit legal organizations, law firms, law schools and businesses that together provide life-changing legal assistance to over 270,000 low-income Californians each year. In addition to her executive responsibilities at OneJustice, Julia enjoys traveling around California providing training and consulting support to the executives and boards of the legal nonprofit organizations in OneJustice's network.
