Join us in a collective pause for mental hygiene – a brief period for meditation, gentle mindful movement, and quiet reflection in community. Beginners welcome!
Current conditions place enormous demands on us. Maintaining good physical and mental-emotional health is essential. This online weekly gathering provides space to check in with ourselves, settling our bodies and hearts and centering our minds so we can do the work that needs doing with love, clarity, and fortitude. Routine engagement in contemplative practices has been shown to foster self-awareness, self-regulation, improved focus, perspective taking, and greater capacity to respond skillfully in our relationships. Additionally, meditation has been shown to reduce the harmful health effects of chronic stress and support settling of the nervous system and engagement of the neocortex, promoting greater calm, clarity, creativity and compassion. Take 30 minutes out of your day or week for a potent mental-emotional refresh.
