ComNetworkSF, a local group of The Communications Network, and Northern California Grantmakers invite you to join Atlantic Media Strategies, the digital consultancy of The Atlantic, for a look at the modern media mindset today.

We are in a time of unprecedented uncertainty—as an industry and as a nation. During times of ambiguity, audiences crave understanding. Foundations and nonprofits of all kinds are grappling with how can they emerge as trusted sources in the face of today’s chaotic media and political landscape. We’ll explore how foundations and other nonprofit organizations can bring their big ideas to life by reimagining what, where, and how they communicate in our increasingly unpredictable world.

Jean Ellen Cowgill, President, Atlantic Media Strategies

Jean Ellen Cowgill leads The Atlantic's consulting firm, Atlantic Media Strategies. AMS helps leading public institutions, nonprofits, and Fortune 500s advance ideas that move the world. Its team of editors, analysts, designers, developers, and marketers helps organizations realize their mission through smart editorial strategies and solutions.  Previously, Jean Ellen managed Atlantic Media’s corporate strategy and business development efforts. Prior to joining the company, Jean Ellen was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. In 2014, she was named to the Folio:100 list of the top 100 leaders in media.
