In this workshop, Program Officers will gain an understanding of how to engage in a dialogue with grantees to identify their capacity for fiscal strategy around complex issues. The session will focus on understanding they key components of strategic financial management, especially as it relates to the following issues:

  • Building and managing operating reserves
  • Capital budgeting and planning
  • Financial strategy and oversight at the board governance level
