Please join the Bay Area Census Funders Collaborative for our next regional working group meeting. As Census 2020 Day approaches, it is an important time to share updates and further opportunities for engagement to ensure a fair and accurate count. At this meeting, we will discuss:
- Collaborative Activities: Representatives from the collaborative will provide an update on our continued efforts to support census outreach and education through our pooled funds and common RFP and application process. In addition, the regional evaluation is underway and the meeting is an opportunity to review the framework, timeline, and discuss initial insights.
- Census 2020 forms: Representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau and United Way Bay Area (Region 3 ACBO) will review the final Census 2020 form, provide an overview of QACs/QAKs (Questionnaire Assistance Centers/Kiosks), and present the Bay Area Counts 2020 regional initiative.
- Take Action: We will discuss strategies, tactics, and messaging to continue promoting the census to our grantees, donors, and other stakeholders leading up to Census Day and identify further opportunities for coordination with UWBA, counties, and the U.S. Census Bureau.
