Philanthropy California is proud to support our partners at the National Center for Family Philanthropy, the national nonprofit devoted to giving families and those who work with them. NCFP is hosting their 20th Anniversary Symposium in San Francisco on September 13-14, exploring the theme Imagining the Future of Family Philanthropy. This intimate event provides a unique opportunity to collaborate and learn about current and future trends and issues in family philanthropy, and to engage with an energized group of colleagues in the field. They will also unveil several new NCFP research initiatives including Pride of Place, a report exploring how boards stay true to the original geographic focus of the family foundation after trustees have moved away.
NCFP is an especially inviting environment for family members; if you have family trustees or staff, you may wish to share this with them. You can see the schedule, speaker, and hotel information here.
The hotel deadline of August 22 is fast approaching! For questions about the Symposium, contact Jason Born at jason@ncfp.org.
