NCG sponsors numerous educational programs, briefing, seminars and workshops to help keep grantmakers informed of changing community needs, emerging trends in the nonprofit sector, promising grantmaking strategies and a host of other issues. Who Can Attend NCG Events?
In general, NCG events are open only to our member grantmakers and potential members, and not to the general public. From time to time, we do sponsor programs which are open to the general public, or invite key stakeholders other than grantmakers to join in the program where their input and involvement would be especially helpful. Those events which are open without invitation are noted on the event calendar and descriptions. Participation is subject to some general guidelines.
Please note: non-member funder/donor program fees begin at $100.00 per program and participation is subject to staff approval. For more information on becoming an NCG member, please contact Marisela Orta, Program Associate, Member Services

Non-Member Participation Guidelines
NCG is pleased to invite representatives of the nonprofit community to some events, but asks those who attend to adhere strictly to our policy of non-solicitation. Accordingly, potential grantseekers are prohibited from engaging in ANY fundraising at NCG functions. Although permitted to talk about their organization’s work in the context of the day’s conversation, nonprofit representatives are precluded from making a “pitch” to an individual grantmaker or the group as a whole. Nonprofit organizations may exchange business cards with grantmakers, but are asked not to present proposals during or after the event unless explicitly requested by a grantmaker. Invited nonprofit representatives who violate this policy may be excluded from future NCG events.
