Access to Information
Through educational forums, special briefing sessions,
and newsletters, NCG keeps its members informed of emerging issues
in the nonprofit sector, recent developments in legislation and
regulations affecting private grantmakers, changing community needs
and key trends in specific granting fields.

NCG Member Interest Survey
The NCG Member Interest Survey allows staff of member organizations to select areas of content interest. Using this information NCG will send staff targeted e-mail announcements regarding events that cover topics they have specifically expressed an interest in. Continuing Education
NCG's professional development workshops help members develop and refine their skills in such areas as proposal review, post grant evaluation and financial analysis.
Networking
NCG's programs provide members the opportunity to get to know their colleagues in other grantmaking organizations, to share information about programs and priorities, and to build cooperative relationships.
Education for Grantseekers
Education for Grantseekers - NCG sponsors educational forums for grantseekers, presenting a realistic picture of the nature, diversity and limitations of private grantmakers.
Collective Problem Solving
Through collaborative funding programs and task forces on specific community needs, NCG members can address problems which are too large and complex for any one funder to tackle individually.
